📜 CircuitRP Server Rules

Management's goal is to create a fun and immersive server for all players. CircuitRP is a roleplay-first server, and we expect all players to maintain an immersive character at all times, regardless of whether they are silly or serious. The staff team will strive to create a fun, safe, and drama-free environment.

You are not here to win; you are here to create stories and make friends. Best of luck to you in the city.

Each category is marked with the number of ban points received when breaking server rules. A total of 100 ban points results in a perm ban that cannot be appealed. Ban points expire 6 months after being given.

⚖️ General Rules (0-100 Points)

  • Use of AI in any application (Server/PD/EMS/etc.)
  • Failure to meet age requirement/expectation of maturity (Perm Ban)
  • Adherence to TOS and Community Guidelines is mandatory, including zero tolerance for Doxxing, Harassment, and Discrimination (Perm Ban)
  • Words that violate TOS warning unless repeated or targeted (Perm Ban)
  • Publicly discussing bans / creating or inciting unnecessary drama is prohibited - Issues should be escalated to Staff
  • Players are required to report any exploits or cheating they are aware of - Not doing so will result in the same punishment as the exploiter
  • Players are expected to promote and engage in role-playing (RP) at all times. Players who focus on winning interactions over creating stories / having high-quality RP scenes will be removed from the community
  • Roleplay Standard - You must be in character at all times in the server. Roleplay whatever scenario you are currently in throughout. If there is a rule break, report it AFTER the scenario has concluded

🔫 Criminal Activity Violations (15-70 Points)

  • Maintain basic respect at all times
  • Malding and breaking character is prohibited - If you're mad, don't press Push To Talk
  • Exceeding the player limit for PvP criminal activities of four players. Acting as a 'lookout' over the radio counts as participation
  • Looting/robbing without proper prior altercation or valid RP reason. Robberies should be part of a storyline and not purely for monetary gain
  • Robberies are limited to physical items and cash. Bank transfer demands are not permitted
  • Deceptive scamming for personal monetary gain is prohibited. Scamming RP is devastating, especially to new players

🎬 Scene Presence Violation (0-60 Points)

  • Logging out before a scene has concluded, also known as combat logging
  • Respawning before medical can reasonably pick you up
  • Not being out of sight whilst AFK
  • Logging out of the server in front of other players
  • When conducting robberies and various heist-based crimes, escalating a getaway or crime event into a shootout should be done only if there is an in-rp reason to do so
  • Interfering with a scene that you are not actively involved in

💪 Powergaming (10-100 Points)

  • Intentionally abusing an in-game mechanic in a way its not intended is considered powergaming
  • Running into an apartment or building that cops would not be able to access
  • No item transfers that bypass gameplay mechanics, such as between two of your characters
  • Avoid unrealistic actions (e.g., wall emoting, motorcycle carrying)
  • Spam-punching, spam-tackling, spam-tazing, spam-ramming, etc. are all prohibited

💀 RDM (50-100 Points)

  • Killing is allowed only with prior interaction and valid RP reason
  • Hitman is prohibited (Perm Ban)
  • Verbal initiation is needed for any type of conflict. You cannot shoot somebody that wronged you hours ago without saying anything to them first

🚗 VDM (50-100 Points)

  • Do not intentionally use your vehicle as a weapon unless it is your only means of escape and aligns with realistic fear for your life
  • You may only strike another player once in such situations, repeated hits are prohibited
  • This rule only applies to newly initiated conflicts

💬 OOC (0-50 Points)

  • There is never any reason to talk out of character
  • Stay in character; use /ooc for scuffs only, staff should be the only individuals enforcing its misuse
  • If there is a rule-break, continue with the scene in character and make a staff report
  • Posting OOC content anywhere in game is prohibited, including Twitter
  • When Downed - Stay in character. Trash talking, OOC complaints, or going AFK without reason is prohibited
  • Breaking character includes 'cousin talk' or talking about stuff 'in head'. These phrases should not be used

⏰ Conflict Cooldown (0-100 Points)

  • Groups should not engage in repeated mass shootouts with Law Enforcement within short timeframes
  • Each group is limited to one major shootout per day with Law Enforcement
  • This rule is in place to prevent nonstop conflict with Law Enforcement and encourage more meaningful and story-driven interactions
  • Conflict Cooldown between Criminal Groups should be limited as much as possible, outside of story / events / mechanical requirements

👔 Appearance Standards (0-50 Points)

  • Your character's clothing and overall appearance must reflect the immersive and story-driven environment of our server
  • Outfits that are overly exaggerated, low-effort, or designed to mock the roleplay setting are not permitted
  • Example: Bowl Cuts combined with Backpacks, Shirtless, Goggles, Gloves, etc
  • Our goal is to maintain a realistic and engaging world. Please dress your character in a way that supports that experience

🕴️ Corruption RP (0-100 Points)

  • Transactions of PD equipment, evidence, or information for personal gain will be classified as low-quality RP and possibly metagaming
  • Corruption RP should be story-driven, subtle, and planned out in advance
  • Feel free to open a ticket if you have any questions about Corrupt RP, as doing it incorrectly can lead to staff action
  • Partaking in Corruption RP strictly for personal or monetary gain is prohibited

💖 NVL - No Value of Life (10-60 Points)

  • Players should value their character's life at all times
  • Your character must act as if their life has real consequences
  • If you're outnumbered or at gunpoint, you are expected to surrender unless you have a strong RP justification not to
  • Reckless behavior during life-threatening situations is considered NVL

🧠 Metagaming (0-60 Points)

  • Limit knowledge to in-game learned information
  • No discussing alternate characters unless correcting misidentification
  • Using information from other characters is prohibited
  • Voice ID - Identify players by their appearance only, not by their voice

🚫 NITRP (20-100 Points)

  • Robbery of a business should require prior interaction with the player working there (No loot boxing of companies)
  • Over-escalating a scene into conflict or violence without an in-RP reason to do so
  • Calling out locations while unconscious or downed is prohibited
  • Stream sniping/Fanboying/Fangirling (Perm Ban)
  • Cop Baiting
  • Paycheck Farming (going AFK inside a business whilst receiving paychecks)
  • Exploiting (Perm Ban)

🌐 Out of Server Behavior

  • Harassing other players, sexual or otherwise, is prohibited, on and off the server
  • Harassment in DMs, Servers, or Socials, is prohibited
  • You are responsible for your behavior in all circuit-related servers and can be held accountable for the rules in all of them
  • Usage of Alt Accounts to evade bans or other punishment is prohibited
  • We exercise the right to remove anyone from the community for any off-server conduct
